Avicel DG is a proprietary co-spray dried MCC/DCP excipient optimized for the use in dry granulation processes.  The unique characteristics of Avicel DG facilitate solid dosage form manufacturing utilizing roller compaction by improving process robustness, tablet hardness, and yields.  Avicel DG offers good flow characteristics, high quality initial compactability, required for the production of robust ribbons, and excellent recompactability, resulting in enhanced tabletting performance and fewer rejected tablets.

Avicel HFE

Avicel HFE-102 is a new, proprietary co-spray dried MCC/mannitol excipient.  The co-processing of MCC and mannitol creates a synergistic functionality, providing superior benefits versus the use of individual or dry-blended components.  Avicel HFE-102 offers improvements in flow, compaction, and disintegration properties compared to traditional MCC grades.  The product also exhibits less sensitivity to lubrication.
