Avicel PH
Microcrystalline Cellulose, NF, Ph. Eur., JPThe introduction of Avicel PH was a catalyst for the pharmaceutical industry’s conversion to direct compression tablet technology, creating new levels of manufacturing efficiency. Today’s Avicel PH continues to set new standards, with enhanced grades designed to boost productivity and meet any formulation challenge.
Avicel HFEMicrocrystalline Cellulose, NF, Ph. Eur., JP and mannitol, USP, Ph. Eur., JPAvicel HFE-102 is a new, proprietary co-spray dried MCC/mannitol excipient. The co-processing of MCC and mannitol creates a synergistic functionality, providing superior benefits versus the use of individual or dry-blended components. Avicel HFE-102 offers improvements in flow, compaction, and disintegration properties compared to traditional MCC grades. The product also exhibits less sensitivity to lubrication.
Avicel CE
Microcrystalline Cellulose and Guar Gum The superior organoleptic performance of Avicel CE-15 in chewable tablets results in dramatic differences for end users, primarily in the areas of overall sensory experience and perceived taste, when compared to other tablet binders. When using Avicel CE-15, the user experiences: less grittiness, reduced tooth packing, minimal chalkiness, creamier mouthfeel, and improved overall palatability.
